Is Christian Ronaldo leaving Real for Man Utd?
We’re not saying he’s doing a runner, but it does look mighty suspicious when Portugues superstar Ronaldo told Real Madrid he wanted to leave after allegations of a $21million tax fraud surfaced last week.
According to the British press, he’s asked Jorge Mendes, super-agent, to make a move to Manchester United happen immediately.

As the football world reels at the latest start to become involved in a tax fraud Europe’s top clubs are carefully watching the situation with Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich all interested.
Word on the street in France is that PSG will offer $204m and an eye-watering salary of $43m a year ($826,923 a week).
We reckon though the club he left over eight years ago, Manchester United, will be hot favourites to land the world’s biggest player where he will be treated with God-like status.
However, he’d have to repair his relationship with Jose Mourinho which was soured when Mourinho was at the Bernabeu, and they fell out. If they can bury the hatchet, it will be exciting times for United fans.
Just remember though, this is the equivalent of the doldrums in the UK at the moment, football wise, as their journalists wait for the season to kick off in August, so we seriously take all this with a pinch of salt.
It would be good to see him back in the EPL though . . .
