Bradford City vs Millwall
If ever there was a game going to end on penalties, it’s this one as both games this season ended up 1-1.
We don’t think this will be the case this time round though.
A huge game for both sides as it means promotion up to the Championships, where both sets of supporters will believe they should be.
A year ago Millwall beat Bradford to advance to the play-off final, only to succumb to Barnsley (who incidentally finished 14th in the Championship this season), so the Bantams will be looking for revenge.
Bradford will also believe they are the favourites as they finished one place above Millwall by six points.
Bradford boss, Stuart McCall, has called upon his side to enjoy the day:
“I just want them to go out there and be the best they can be. The bottom line is that we want to come back a Championship side.”
The Wall faithful won’t care one jot about that come midnight tonight as over 27,000 travel up from South London to get behind the boys from Bermondsey, singing their famous “No one likes us …” rallying call.
This is Millwall’s fifth Wembley appearance in the past eight years, almost like a second home.
They weren’t too far off a second appearance this season after a fantastic FA Cup run, with the League One team knocking out Premier sides Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester City before Spurs cut them down a peg, or six.
Manager Neil Harris knows what they need to do, and so does his team:
“”There are no egos in there, they’re a great group of lads, and they know they’ve got to perform on the day to achieve.”
Switch beIN Sports 2 on tonight at midnight to see what has the potential to be a cracking Final as these two clubs clash to get that final spot in The Championship, and listen to the noise from the Millwall fans!
Millwall’s Lee Gregory has scored in each of his last three matches in all competitions against Bradford, so we will have him to score at any time @ $2.60 Bet365
We think the Millwall fans will add another player to the team on the pitch and Millwall will return to the League they were relegated from in 2014/15
